Growing People and Companies Through Change with Stacy Henry – #253

Share:

Change is the only constant in life (Heraclitus). If you don’t see, are you paying attention? And if you aren’t changing, well, that is something different. Stacy Henry is the author of Get Rooted! Growing People and Companies Through Change and joins Kevin to discuss change and values. We don’t always get to choose the change (hello pandemic), yet we get to choose our actions and reactions. The way we respond is based on our values. Often, we hold on tight, even though we don’t like the current state, because it is known. It requires us to think differently and move through the change.

In this episode, Stacy shares 8 universal values and focuses on:

  1. Relationships vs. disengagement.
  2. Trust vs. control.
  3. Progress vs. perfection.

Quote Image: Shifting to the root of trust and trusting your people to do whatever it is that you've hired them to do will take you much further in the long run.
